दर्द भी आज रोने लगा, जब दिल के दर्द को दर्द हुआ,

हम दर्द में जी रहे थे ज़िंदगी हमारी, पर अब दर्द भी बेदर्द हुआ।

हंसी के परदे लगा दिए लबों पर, की आह कही निकल ना जाये,

रोशनी के परदे लगा दिए आँखों पर, की आंसू कही छलक ना जाये,

करहाती रहती है सोच भी हर पल ऐसे, जैसे दर्द को भी ना दिखने वाला सिरदर्द हुआ,

हम दर्द में जी रहे थे ज़िंदगी हमारी, पर अब दर्द भी बेदर्द हुआ।

 

 

हाथों में बाँधी है रस्सी इच्छा की, कही शोर ताली का ना हो जाये,

पाँव में बाँधी है बेड़ियाँ उड़ने की, कही धुन पर यह थिरक ना जाये,

तड़पने लगी है पीड़ा भी, क्युकी, हर मर्ज़ की दवा का असर भी अब दर्द हुआ,

हम दर्द में जी रहे थे ज़िंदगी हमारी, पर अब दर्द भी बेदर्द हुआ।

 

 

ये दर्द आज का नहीं है, युगो युगो का साथी है,

वंचित ना रह पाए राम – सीता  तो कहा राधा – कृष्ण भी बाकी है,

कई हज़ारो रंग लिए हुए, इसके रूप अनेकाएक हुए,

यूँ तो राहे अलग है सबकी, पर दर्द छुपाने के भाव सभी के एक हुए।

 

उसी राह पर चलते चलते आत्मा ने ये सवाल किया,

जब दर्द हुआ है बेदर्द तो तू है क्यों उसमे घिरा हुआ?

 

जोश में आकर हमने भी दर्द को चेतावनी दे डाली,

बेअसर कर देंगे रुतबा तेरा, जो नज़र कभी हम पर डाली,

आज दर्द टकरा कर हमसे, जैसे चकनाचूर हुआ,

थक गया दर्द भी दे दे कर दर्द हमे, अब वही बेदर्द होकर हमारी ज़िन्दगी का नूर हुआ,

क्युकी

हम दर्द में जी रहे थे ज़िंदगी हमारी, पर अब दर्द भी बेदर्द हुआ,

पर अब दर्द भी बेदर्द हुआ।
