shivratriशिव रात्रि के इस पर्व पर हम शिव के भक्त तो बन जाते है,

पर जितना त्याग किया शिव ने,

उसका थोड़ा ऋण भी चूकाते है|

विष का प्याला पी गए वो,

जन जन को माहुर से बचाने को,

पर हर ज़ीवा हलाहल उगल रही,

खुद की शैली दिखाने को|

गंगाजी को कैद कर लिया, स्वयं की विशाल जटाओ में,

फिर भी मानव मशगूल हो रहा, घिर कर खुदगर्ज़ घटाओ में |

 

अग्नि से सृष्टि को बचाने को, सूर्य का टीका लगा लिया,

शीतलता दे दी प्रलय को, मस्तक पर चाँद सजा लिया|

 

झूमती है रचना शिव की, जब जब डमरू बजता है,

क्यों उठाये त्रिशूल वो, जब हर घर स्वार्थ का तांडव सजता है|

 

शिव चक्षु रुद्राक्ष के रूप में, शांति मन को पहुंचाते है,

पर मानुष नेत्रहीन होकर, व्रत माया लाभ का बनाते है|

 

सबसे भोला देव है ये, भोला भंडारी कहलाता है,

बालक मन सा जीले जीवन, दूजे से द्वेष कर कोई गति नहीं पाता है|

 

तेरा ओझा, तेरी शोहरत, तेरे है किस काम की,

गर तू महत्ता नहीं जानता, शंकर के ॐ नाम की|

 

शिव का जब तुम ध्यान करोगे, तो ऐसी ऊर्जा पाओगे,

समस्त ब्रह्माण की शक्ति का, स्वयं में लाभ उठाओगे|

 

भस्म लगानी नहीं है, साधु भी बनना नहीं है,

नहीं होना दुनिया से जुदा, स्वच्छ बना आत्मा को तेरी , शिव से मिलान को करना यही है|

 

काट ले बंधन, वक़्त अभी है, तोड़ भ्रम के जंजाल को,

तुझ में तेरा अस्तित्व होगा, अगर पूजेगा महाकाल को……….पूजेगा महाकाल को….||
