बैसाखी का दिन निराला, स्थापना के साथ साथ, सिखों को दिया सिंह नाम है,

मुण्डे पर जचता पगड़ी और धोती कुरता, पटियाला सूट कुडियो की पहचान है|

भांगरे से ताल मिलाकर जब जब ढोल नगाड़ा बजता है,

एक जुट होता जन-समूह ये सारा, रंग बिरंगा हिंदुस्ता मेरा सजता है|

इसका महत्व है बड़ा कमाल, जब भी आये करे धमाल,

खुशियां अनगिनत लेकर आता, बधाइयों से सबको करे मालामाल|

 

पंजाबियों का नया साल ये, नक्षत्र विशाखा कहलाता है,

रबी और खरीफ की फसल से पूरा खेत लहलहाता है|

 

फसल अधूरी रही नहीं अब, कांटने की बारी है,

हल हाथ में लेकर खड़ा है नर तो, मीठा कुछ खिलाने को तैयार नारी है|

 

इसी दिन तो गुरु गोबिंद जी ने, नाम खालसा पंथ दे दिया,

कोई रब की मेहर से वंचित ना रह जाये, गुरु ग्रन्थ को रब का दर्जा दे दिया|

 

इन खुशियों को ज़ाहिर करने को, हम (सरदार) ये त्यौहार मनाते है,

कोई भूखा या प्यासा ना रह जाए इसलिए जगह जगह लंगर कराते है|

 

ऊंच नीच या जात पात का, ना कोई अंतर रहता है,

“वाहे गुरु दा खालसा, वाहे गुरु दी फतह”, इन शब्दों को हर मानव मन से कहता है|

 

भारत की इस खूबसूरती में, आओ हम भी रंग जाये,

अनेकता में एकता वाले भाव से एकजुट होकर, गुरु के चरणों में हम भी शीश को झुका पाए,

आशीष हम भी पा पाए…………..
