पुराना साल गया नहीं…..नया साल आ गया…….

जो चला गया वो दे गया सपने,

जो चला गया वो दे गया यादें,

कैसे भूले दिन वो दुःख के, कैसे जिए दोबारा दिन वो सुख के,

जो चला गया वो दे गया हज़ारों बातें|

सपने वो जो अपने है, सपने वो जो जीने है,

सपने वो जो छूटे नहीं, सपने वो जैसे नगीने है,

लेकिन वो जो चला गया, ज़िन्दगी का हिस्सा है,

कोई कहता साल पुराना, वो बीती निद्रा का किस्सा है

आने वाले साल के स्वागत में, भूल न जाना ऐ दोस्त मेरे ,

सीखा कर गया, कुछ बना कर गया, संभाल उसे, वो तेरी दौलत, ज़ाकिर जैसा है|

बाहे तूने पहला ली है, कलम तूने उठा ली है,

खोल लिया नया पन्ना मन की किताब का,

लिखने को तैयार है तू, बातें नयी, यादें नयी,

दिन तो ये भी बीत जायेंगे, lamhe खास भी बन जायेंगे,

फिर से यही आलम होगा, नया साल भी पुराना होगा,

तू फिर से स्वागत कर लेगा, क्या यही तेरा फ़साना होगा…..?

बात छोड़ साल बदलने की, वक़्त की ये मांग है,

बदल नजरिया सोच का, सोच को तू बना बड़ा,

करले दिन का काम एक ऐसा, जिसको तेरा परचम ले खड़ा,

होगा हर दिन साल जैसा, जीवन तेरा शताब्दियाँ,

आगन्तुक  होगा तू हर तारिख  का, जैसे शिखर हिमालय का हो अड़ा….

कर ले मुक्कमल खुद को इतना, करले मुक्कमल खुद को इतना………..नए साल में …… करले मुक्कमल खुद को इतना
